Lead Quantitative Technologist – Investment Analytics

They are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer with significant Front Office experience to join their team.
What You'll Do:
You'll lead the development of innovative, practical, and robust technology solutions that enhance portfolio management and investment decision-making. Your work will directly empower investment teams across asset classes through high-performance tools, deep data insights, and scalable platforms.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Consulting closely with investment teams to identify needs and shape fit-for-purpose analytics and data solutions.
- Designing and developing proprietary tools and models using Python, SQL, and modern cloud technologies.
- Creating data workflows and APIs, automating processes, and integrating with third-party financial platforms.
- Ensuring tactical solutions evolve into long-term strategic tools.
- Sharing knowledge and promoting technical best practices across a collaborative development team.

About You:
- You're a quantitative problem-solver with strong experience in Python, SQL, and financial data systems.
- You have excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You're curious, pragmatic, and passionate about building systems that deliver real-world impact.
- You bring a background in a numerical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science), and may hold a CFA or quantitative post-grad qualification.
