Occupational Therapist – Community & Telehealth (Logan & North Gold Coast, QLD)

Part Time (with potential to move to Full Time)

About Us:

We are a multidisciplinary allied health provider offering occupational therapy in clients' homes and counselling via telehealth. Our founders have backgrounds in nursing, play therapy, and counselling, with extensive experience supporting individuals living with disabilities. We are committed to delivering holistic, client-centred care to people of all ages.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our small, dedicated team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to clients in their homes, supporting children, teens, adults, and older adults. You'll support people with a wide range of needs, including mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessment and intervention in clients' homes (Logan & North Gold Coast).
  • Work with clients of all ages, from young children to older adults.
  • Provide therapy for individuals with a variety of disabilities, including mental health challenges, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities.
  • Develop tailored therapy plans to support independence, wellbeing, and participation in daily life.
  • Work with a diverse client base: private clients, NDIS participants, Private Health, Workcover, and Medicare clients.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and other health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

About You:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities and/or chronic conditions (all ages).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with clients with disabilities and/or chronic conditions is required.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a small, multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference in the community.
  • Access to reliable transport for home visits within Logan & North Gold Coast.
  • Willingness to provide services via in client's home as well as work from home as required.
  • Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen to be eligible for this position.
