Key Responsibilities:

  • Hair Services:
  • Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyle and hair concerns. 
  • Shampoo, condition, and blow-dry hair. 
  • Perform hair cutting techniques including trims, layers, and texturizing. 
  • Apply hair color services like highlights, ombre, and balayage. 
  • Style hair for various occasions including updos, braids, and curls. 
  • Provide advice on hair care products and maintenance routines. 
  • Beauty Services:
  • Conduct skin consultations to assess client needs 
  • Perform facial treatments including cleansing, exfoliation, and mask application 
  • Offer waxing services for various body areas 
  • Provide nail services like manicures, pedicures, and gel polish applications 
  • May offer additional services like eyelash tinting, eyebrow shaping, or spray tanning 
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet clients warmly and build rapport 
  • Effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations 
  • Provide personalized service and recommendations based on client consultation 
  • Manage appointment scheduling and client records 
  • Address client concerns and complaints professionally 
  • Operational Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, tools, and equipment 
  • Adhere to salon hygiene and safety protocols 
  • Stock and maintain inventory of salon products 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuing education 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized Beauty and Hairdressing qualification from a reputable institution 
  • Strong technical skills in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and various beauty treatments 
  • Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and communication 
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality services 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
