Environmental Consultant

The Company

Lundstrom Environmental (Lundstrom) undertake a wide range of environmental tasks which include Earth and Water Science, applications for Approvals at Federal, State and Local Govt levels, Environmental Impact Assessments, Monitoring and Auditing for the Mining and Basic Raw Materials industry in Western Australia. We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified person to assist us in the provision of these services.

Role:

This role is mainly office based with working hours being flexible and some working from home is an option after at least 2 months in the office. The job can be casual and part-time. The office environment is relaxed whilst being productive and the small group of employees love the informality and flexibility that is a part of this job. This role is very suitable for a parent who needs to drop off and pick up school children during term time.

Job Tasks:

Web based research, client liaison, project management, report writing, and occasional field work. Optional computer-based drawing (GIS), computer modelling.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Experience in approvals under Parts IV and V of State environmental legislation. At least 3 years' experience as an Environmental Scientist/Engineer and a relevant tertiary qualification.

Candidates must have appropriate work authorisation to work in Australia, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Culture:

A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently is essential.

Lundstrom Environmental has been providing consulting services within the environmental approvals field for 24 years in Western Australia. The core team is small but expands when required by market forces. Work arrangements are very flexible. Free parking and easy access.

Remuneration will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
