Our client is a prominent player in the delivery of major infrastructure projects with a strong pipeline of work across NSW. They are now looking for a
Site Engineer
to join their team either based in Mudgee. This could be someone based there full time, on a DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) basis from Sydney or another location, or could be on a contract basis as well. This role is essential to the success of their roads project, ensuring effective project planning, stakeholder management, and execution.
You will ideally have experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects (ideally roads projects) with either a head contractor background, client-side project management or government background. You'll need to have a proven track record in coordinating complex projects, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in line with government standards and community expectations.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with contractors, regulators, and internal teams.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation, reporting, and contract management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex issues and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project.
• Must have a driving licence
