About the role

As the Fresh Market Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations and performance of our store located near The Entrance, NSW. In this full-time role, you will work closely with the business owners to ensure the store delivers an exceptional customer experience and meets ambitious financial targets.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead and motivate a team of passionate retail associates to drive store sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
  2. Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, loss prevention and staff scheduling
  3. Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies
  4. Ensure the store is compliant with all relevant health, safety and legal regulations
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute engaging in-store promotions and events
  6. Provide exceptional customer service and be a visible leader in the store
  7. Participate in the recruitment, training and development of store team members

What we're looking for

  1. 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, ideally within the grocery or fresh food industry
  2. Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret sales data to drive business performance
  3. Excellent people management skills, with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams
  4. Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive, engaging in-store experience
  5. Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  6. Passion for fresh food and a commitment to promoting healthy eating habits
  7. Australian citizenship is required for this position
