Role Description

This full-time role for a Bush Regenerator is based in Brisbane, QLD and involves on-site work. The Bush Regenerator will be responsible for carrying out ecological restoration activities, including invasive species control, native plant propagation and planting, habitat restoration, and assisting with site assessments and monitoring. The role involves physical labor and working in various weather conditions to support the maintenance and restoration of natural ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in invasive species control and habitat restoration
  • Skills in native plant identification, propagation, and planting
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks in diverse weather conditions
  • Understanding of ecological restoration principles and practices
  • Relevant certifications in environmental management or conservation
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field is beneficial
