About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at TURNER FREEMAN, a leading personal injury law firm, as a Legal Assistant - Personal Injury. Based in our Sydney CBD office, this full-time role will see you providing essential administrative and legal support to our team of experienced personal injury lawyers.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-level administrative support, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and legal documents
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation
  • Managing client files and maintaining detailed records
  • Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Assisting with the preparation of court documents and attending court when required
  • Undertaking general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the team

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a personal injury law firm or similar legal environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and experience with legal-specific software
  • A genuine interest in the legal industry and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
