As a Land Officer in the Central Point of Lodgement team, you'll be at the centre of Queensland's land tenure processes, supporting community development and business growth while building valuable experience in land administration. In this role, you will:


• Receive, assess and progress land tenure applications, applying legislation and policy to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Review new applications, capture and allocate them in departmental systems, and provide timely advice to clients and stakeholders.

• Analyse information, exercise judgement, and make recommendations to support decision-making.

• Build rapport with clients and colleagues to maintain a professional and consistent service.

• Balance administrative tasks with investigations under the Land Act 1994, working with senior officers and team leaders on projects.

• Contribute to business improvements by identifying efficiencies and helping to maintain high service standards.

• Collaborate with your five-person team, share knowledge, and support colleagues to meet priorities and deadlines.

• Use departmental systems to capture data, track applications and maintain accurate records.

• Develop your knowledge of land legislation and policies while gaining skills that will support future career opportunities.

You'll thrive in this role if you are organised, detail-focused and motivated by contributing to Queensland's land management outcomes. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage competing tasks, and a willingness to learn and support

others will make you a valued member of the team.
