The Role

We're seeking an Associate Frontend React Developer to join our expanding engineering team. In this role, you'll help a build high-quality, user-friendly web application used by globally recognised brands, and thousands of people every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript
  • Collaborate closely with senior developers, designers, and backend engineers
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code
  • Integrate frontend components with GraphQL APIs
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues
  • Keep up to date with modern frontend technologies and techniques
  • Help improve our development workflows and tooling
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with React
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (bundlers, linters, package managers)
  • Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
  • Understanding of REST and/or GraphQL
  • Solid grasp of CSS and responsive design principles
  • Experience using Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
  • Must have Australian work rights for this position
  • Bachelor's degree required as minimum education level
Nice to Have
  • Experience working directly with GraphQL
  • Exposure to .NET C# backend environments
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
