About the Role

As a Scrum Master, you'll guide two cross-functional squads to deliver customer-focused outcomes using Suncorp's Momentum delivery model. You'll embed agile practices, remove delivery roadblocks, and foster continuous improvement across technology and business teams.

What You'll Do

  • Support backlog management and optimise squad delivery through agile practices and governance
  • Facilitate planning, sequencing, and prioritisation of work to ensure timely outcomes
  • Monitor squad performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Coach teams to adopt Momentum mindsets and delivery processes
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and align goals
  • Maintain squad-level reporting and RAID management to ensure transparency and compliance

What You'll Bring

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) and project management accreditation (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management or Scrum Master roles
  • Proven ability to lead dispersed or offshore teams in technology delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, including executive
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive strategic outcomes in a collaborative environment
  • Preference for candidates with previous Insurance/Claims experience
