Marketing Specialist (Pathway to Marketing Manager)

Join a fast growing solar and battery company with a clear pathway into a Marketing Manager role. We are looking for a capable marketer who can execute hands on work now and grow into leading the marketing function as we expand nationally.

This role suits someone experienced in digital marketing who is confident managing campaigns, writing content and improving performance, and who wants the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.

Solar or battery industry experience is strongly preferred but not essential for a high performing marketer who can learn quickly.


About the Role

You will start in a hands on capacity to learn the business, our customers, our regions and the solar industry. As capability and alignment develop, the role will shift into broader ownership of strategy and management.

Initial responsibilities include:

• Managing and optimising Meta and Google Ads campaigns

• Creating landing pages, emails, SMS flows and solar focused content

• Coordinating monthly solar marketing campaigns and content shoots

• Building and improving CRM automations using Pipedrive

• Analysing performance data and reporting insights

• Maintaining consistent messaging across all digital channels

This phase is delivery focused and ideal for someone who enjoys getting things done.


Pathway to Marketing Manager

Once you have developed a strong understanding of the solar and battery space and demonstrated performance, you will progressively take on:

• Ownership of marketing strategy and planning

• Budget management and forecasting

• Managing agencies, contractors and creative output

• Scaling national solar and battery lead generation

• Leading future members of the marketing team

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director

The progression timeline will depend on performance and alignment.

What We Are Looking For
Essential:


• Three years or more experience in digital marketing

• Strong capability in Meta and Google Ads

• Excellent written communication

• Ability to manage projects and work independently

• Strong understanding of performance metrics including CPC, CPL, ROAS and CVR

• Experience producing content for web, social and email

Strongly Preferred:


• Solar or battery industry experience

• Experience with CRM and marketing automations using Pipedrive, HubSpot or similar

• Experience scaling performance marketing campaigns

• Content led SEO experience including writing content that ranks and converts

• Ability to understand customer journeys in technical or regulated industries
