Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic

Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic (1st, 2nd or 3rd Year)

Location: Based in the Yarra Ranges, with some work further out and occasional time away from home.

Mercer Refrigeration is a small but growing business, and we're looking for a mechanically minded individual to join our team as a Refrigeration Apprentice. We work across a wide range of projects, so no two days are the same.

At Mercer Refrigeration, we value honesty, respect, communication and passion. We're looking for someone who shares these values and is keen to build their skills in the trade.

What you'll be doing:

• Supermarket refrigeration installs
• Service and maintenance work on produce farms
• Cool room builds
• Call-outs for technical breakdowns
• A mix of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building work

What we're looking for:

• 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice in Refrigeration
• Mechanically minded and eager to learn
• Current driver's licence (required)
• Willing to travel and stay away from home occasionally
• Reliable, motivated and a good communicator
