Role & Responsibilities:

  • Leading all operational functions to successfully implement approved strategies to build, partner, inspire and enable delivery of financially sustainable growth
  • Contribute to the development of, and lead the implementation of the NDIS Service Delivery and the strategic operational plan
  • Ensure NDIS team meets all quality, risk management and legislative/regulatory compliance standards
  • Actively demonstrate, pursue and enhance a culture of excellence and solution-based thinking
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support and enhance Samaritans NDIS Service delivery
  • Achieve agreed financial objectives, by applying commercial management standards, policies and processes to planning, forecasting and budget preparation and management
  • Develop and strengthen teams, implement workforce plans and development frameworks to align workforce capability with the organisations' current and future priorities and objectives
  • Form strong, robust and lasting external partnerships to support and grow Samaritan's NDIS Services

About you?

You are an experienced leader and operator with a proven track record and comprehensive understanding of NDIS service delivery, with the ability to pivot strategically to execute initiatives across a multi-site workforce aimed at fostering growth and development in line with the organisational strategic plan.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Strongly developed leadership and people management capability with the ability to support and empower confidence to others in a complex environment.
  • Highly developed risk management skills and exposure to project management
  • A commercial lens in the provision of service delivery under NDIS
  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of the NDIS Industry including accreditation, legislation, funding models, reforms and the shaping of policies and procedures.
  • High level knowledge and understanding of the National Quality and Safeguarding Framework and ability to lead compliance in the service landscape.
  • Proven internal & external stakeholder management experience including but not limited to government bodies, commission other relevant parties.
  • Hold a tertiary degree or higher qualification in Business Management or a related discipline.
  • Current Drivers' licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Check
