The Role

As an Associate in the Funds Management team, you will provide support across operations and performance reporting, ensuring processes run smoothly and information is delivered accurately to stakeholders. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in day-to-day operational activities, contribute to reporting cycles, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep everything on track.

A typical day may include:

  • Performing fund operations tasks, including cash and holdings reconciliation, trade monitoring, and settlement.
  • Liaising with custodians, fund administrators, brokers and portfolio managers to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Reviewing unit prices, corporate actions, and mandate monitoring requirements.
  • Aggregating product information and preparing monthly and quarterly fund reports.
  • Drafting and reviewing portfolio commentaries and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing data packs and supporting materials for research groups and clients.

About You

We are keen to hear from recent graduates or those with some professional experience who are looking to build a career in funds management and financial markets. You'll thrive in this role if you are proactive, analytical, and collaborative, with a keen interest in investment operations.

Key to your success in the role will be:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • An interest in financial markets and eagerness to learn.
  • Prior exposure to financial services or investment management is desirable but not essential.
