We are seeking someone Passionate

·       Full Time or Casual flexible hours available

·       Historic Lane in central Melbourne location

·       Have input in the seasonal & specials menu

·       Opportunity to grow for the right Candidate.

About YOU

·       Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen with a knowledge and passion for working as part of a positive and enthusiastic team

·       Experience with Modern Australian/Italian menus preferred but not essential

·       The ability to perform and thrive in high pressure environment

·       Exceptional level of communication skills with your team when the pressure is on

·       Time management skills are essential and must be highly organised within all sections and maintaining prep levels

·       Experience in maintaining food safety records

·       Ensure all food is prepared consistently and to the required quality during service.

·       Experience in pans, grill and larder required

·       Must have a hands-on approach

·       Reliability, good communication, and a team-first attitude

·       Maintaining a healthy and cooperative relationship with all the restaurant teams.

·       Assisting the kitchen management team to ensure the quality and consistency of our product is maintained to the standards expected

·       Adhering to the kitchen's hygiene processes and procedures

·       Maintenance of stock levels with regards to prep and ensuring the management team are aware of any ordering requirements

·       Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar)

Located on Hardware Lane, Grill Steak Seafood is Smart Casual and intimate dining with a cocktail bar and dining room upstairs that brings a Mediterranean taste to the heart of Melbourne.
