About the role

BODA Building Group is seeking an experienced Full Time Tiler to join our team in East Cannington, WA. This is a full-time position, responsible for the installation of tiles on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and laying tiles on floors and walls according to specifications
  • Cutting, shaping and fitting tiles around obstacles and fixtures
  • Applying grout and sealants to complete the tiling process
  • Working closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of tiling work
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to the project manager

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a tiler in the building/construction industry
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements and specifications
  • Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of design principles
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
