Employing over 300 dedicated staff, they provide high quality residential aged care for more than 200 men and women in 5 homes across Northern Sydney – Dural, Gordon, Mosman, Hunters Hill and Gladesville.

The Roles - Kitchen Hand or Laundry Attendant or Cleaner

Promoting and maintaining optimum levels of resident support services and providing exceptional quality environment. In one of these roles, your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Promote person centred care within a support role
  • Maintain safe workplace and work towards eliminating hazards and risks
  • Knowledge of safe use of chemicals and equipment
  • Knowledge of infection control in regards to an aged care setting
  • Good oral communication skills and team work
  • Ability to work without supervision and prioritise workload efficiently
  • Maintain records of performed duties
  • In regards to Kitchen Hand position, having sound knowledge of food safety and procedures is vital

  • Days and timings dependent on position and facility
  • Opportunity to Salary Package

About you

Demonstrating experience in a similar role, you will have:

  • An up-to-date Police Check or NDIS
  • Australian Driving License (applicable to laundry role)
  • Previous experience (highly preferred)
  • Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regarded
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • First aid / CPR certificates (optional)
