Tropic Cleaning Services is a well-established Darwin-based business providing professional cleaning services to government, education, and commercial facilities across the Northern Territory.

We're seeking a capable and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our daily operations, support our team, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

About the Role
  • Oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across multiple client sites.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff to maintain service quality and compliance.
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and operational reviews.
  • Manage rosters, equipment, and consumables efficiently.
  • Support a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.
  • Assist with quoting, contract renewals, and price-increase letters.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental performance.
About You
  • 5+ years in operations, cleaning, or facilities management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multi-site contracts.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and reporting software.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems is preferable.
