Project Coordinator

SR Construction is a leading multi-trade maintenance and construction company with over 22 years' experience serving the private and public housing sector. We specialise in public housing restorations; upgrade works and new construction.

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Project Coordinator with great attention to detail to join our vibrant team. In your role as a Maintenance Project Coordinator, you will be working as part of a supportive team that focuses on delivering outstanding projects that exceed our clients' expectations. You will be coordinating repairs and maintenance work orders ensuring that all outcomes are met, and all workplace safety requirements are followed. You will be dealing with SR Construction's clients and subcontractors while maintaining an efficient operation and ensuring a timely quality completion of work orders.

Specific Accountabilities

• Receive, assign and invoice work orders
• Supervise work orders including budget, time, resource and quality requirements
• Maintain contractual KPIs
• Schedule jobs
• Liaise with various clients to ensure works are carried out as per the contract terms
• Liaise with various trades to ensure works are carried out in a timely manner and up to standards
• Liaise with tenants to ensure they are aware of the time and date works scheduled to be carried
• Handle complaints received by tenants or clients regarding works
• Ensure all documentation is stored in the system for each work order
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required

HSQE and Information Security Accountabilities

• Lead by example in stimulating a high level of safety awareness at all times
• Ensure resources are allocated to deal with WHS/EMS obligations at sites
• Be actively involved in the WHS/EMS/Quality procedures for all works
• Ensure risk assessment paperwork is conducted for all work orders
• Ensure the correct paperwork is completed for high-risk work at site
• Ensure only company inducted companies are used at work sites
• Ensure works are only assigned to people trained, competent and licensed (where applicable) to carry out works only use trades for the work they are qualified for
• Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental issues are reported to the HSQE Manager
• Follow SR Construction's information security policy and report any information security related accidents to the Information Security Manager
• The duty holder must comply with their duty to the same standard regardless of whether there are multiple holders of the duty or one holder of the duty.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in relevant employment
• Formal qualification (diploma or higher)
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Able to think logically and solve problems independently
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Professional presentation and attitude
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Empathetic and people-focused approach
