About the role

We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a
People & Culture Administrator
to join our team in a full-time role, starting as soon as possible. Working closely with the People & Culture Team, AU Head Office, and Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide high-quality administrative, secretarial, and logistical support. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including maintaining HR systems (HRIS and LMS), coordinating onboarding and offboarding
  • Managing shared HR inboxes and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Support in the preparation of reports, letters, contracts, and other People Services documentation.
  • Provide seamless support to our leadership team and employees by Calendar coordination, organising local and international travel, coordinating logistics, managing itineraries, and maintaining excellent stakeholder connections.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, supporting employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives
  • Manage SMC ANZ Wellbeing program and coordinate events
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Office Assistant and/or Administrator
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel MS Project, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of flexibility and multitasking ability
  • Strong solution focus and ability to work independently without any supervision
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise tasks, and collaborate with others to provide support to stakeholders
  • Proficient in time management and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to be proactive, learn quickly and adapt to new software
  • Ability to take outside business hours calls to attend to urgent requests for information or assistance by stakeholders
  • Hold and maintain a valid Driver's License
