About the role

As the Electronics Production Engineer at Masters and Young Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production and assembly of high-quality electronic components and systems. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the electronics manufacturing processes at our Woodridge, Queensland facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the assembly, testing and quality control of electronic products to ensure they meet rigorous standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain efficiency and product quality
  • Continuously review and optimise manufacturing processes and workflow to drive productivity improvements
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide input on product development and design for manufacturability
  • Manage and train the production team, providing technical guidance and mentorship
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and standards

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an electronics manufacturing or production engineering role
  • Proven track record in leading and optimising complex electronics production processes
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic components, assembly methods and testing procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience with Altium
