BLACKROC is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Penetration Testing Lead. This permanent position offers the opportunity to lead red team operations, contribute to security governance, and consult on secure architectures across both IT and OT environments.

Role Purpose

The Penetration Testing Lead will take ownership of proactive security initiatives, leading offensive engagements and embedding security practices across technology environments. This position is designed for a hands-on security leader who wants to transition into a future senior role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing, red teaming, adversary simulation, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Architect secure solutions across IT and OT environments.
  • Build and maintain threat models and attack surface analysis.
  • Mentor junior staff and uplift the organisation's security maturity.
  • Provide offensive insights into incident response and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in security, with 2+ years in offensive security.
  • Strong red team and penetration testing background.
  • Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365).
  • Tools experience: Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Burp Suite, BloodHound, scripting.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications: OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CRTO.
