As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.

As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are seeking qualified Aviation Tanker Drivers to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Richmond RAAF Base, NSW. 

The Role 

Led by an Operations Supervisor, the following roles will be based in Sydney's North-West area of Richmond, supporting a major fuel installation in the region. 

Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence baseWork closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuelDeliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etcOperate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraftCommunicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experienceSupport the broader operations team and perform duties within the fuel installation when required

What you Need

You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following

HC/MC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling LicenceProven experience operating heavy vehicles is essentialExperience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regardedGood communicator and ability to work in a diverse teamCurrent holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearancesLive locally, or willing to relocate to Richmond, NSW or nearby suburbs
