The Accounts Officer (Entry Level) works as part of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, supporting the organisation's financial operations. The role reports to the Finance Manager within Corporate Services – Finance.
This role includes:
- Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and accurately process and allocate receipts and debtor accounts
- Manage credit card and petty cash transactions, including regular reconciliations and record-keeping
- Assist with compiling financial data, variance analysis, and reporting for management
- Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and reports
- Maintain confidentiality, manage internal resources and assist with updating processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualification/licenses requirements:
- Studying towards a certificate or diploma of bookkeeping/accounting (desirable, not mandatory)

- Service focus and analytical skills
