We are looking for a motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our growing Riddlock PT team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right applicant: we are offering a weekly retainer of $350 for the first 6 weeks while we help you build your client base and fill your diary.

Unlike most PT roles, this position removes the biggest barriers for trainers starting out:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations to assess clients' fitness levels, goals, and needs
  • Design customised training programs tailored to each client
  • Deliver engaging and effective sessions with a focus on technique, safety, and progression
  • Motivate and support clients on their fitness journey
  • Provide basic nutritional advice within your scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices
  • Ensure a safe training environment at all times

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent Australian qualification)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Minimum of 1+ years of personal training experience working with clients
  • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and work independently
  • Passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing
  • Availability during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required
