About The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager at our North Geelong Head Office, the Production Supervisor works hands-on, leading our factory team in a busy production line environment to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of daily production schedules. You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic all-rounder and have exceptional man management/leadership and time management skills.

Duties of the role include but not be limited to:

  • Planning and organising daily workflow.
  • Leading a team of production staff, with a hands-on approach.
  • Mentoring and assisting with staff development.
  • Hold toolbox meetings.
  • Formal performance management of (direct and indirect reports.)
  • Managing various production activities simultaneously.
  • Ensuring smooth processes through the production areas.
  • Daily completion of scheduled production day and reporting of any misses.
  • Follow up and reporting of production backlog.
  • Quality control.
  • Progress reporting vs. completed production numbers.
  • Ensuring necessary stock levels are available for each production day.
  • Managing the team and ensuring good working relationships.
  • Administrative functions using MS Office and other internal software.
