The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for a 6-month engagement to lead a critical national security transformation project. This high-visibility role requires mandatory, proven experience rolling out Zscaler solutions in large, complex environments. You will be managing the replacement of current Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure across dozens of national sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zscaler Rollout Leadership: Lead the end-to-end project management for the national deployment of Zscaler across multiple sites, managing the infrastructure transition from Cisco SD-WAN.
  • Technical & Vendor Liaison: Act as the technical leader with the gravitas to liaise effectively between internal technical teams, external vendors, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Project Execution: Drive teams, maintain firm control over scope and schedule, and ensure milestones are met within tight timeframes.
  • Cloud Integration: Manage project dependencies related to Azure cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with the new security platform.
  • Reporting & Governance: Provide excellent, high-level reporting and communication to senior stakeholders on project status, risks, and financial health.
  • Team Dynamics: Bring energy and enthusiasm to drive teams, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Mandatory Experience: Proven, hands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager specifically managing the rollout and implementation of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, or ZDX) in a large, complex organization.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong background in enterprise networking, cloud security, and managing infrastructure transitions (e.g., replacing Cisco SD-WAN).
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure cloud environments is mandatory, with exposure to AWS being a plus.
  • Leadership Style: Must be an agreeable, firm, and driven person with a high-level of energy and enthusiasm to effectively lead transformation teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and reporting skills to manage expectations up to executive levels.
