The Role

You'll oversee a 50-vehicle (and growing) PUD fleet, operating across metropolitan Sydney daily. As the operational heartbeat of the business, you'll drive fleet performance, lead a skilled team, and ensure every delivery meets the mark.

You Will:
  • Manage & optimise a 50-vehicle PUD fleet, ensuring maximum utilisation across the network
  • Lead a team of allocators and administrative staff, fostering performance and accountability
  • Meet or exceed DIFOT KPIs daily, ensuring reliability and service excellence
  • Ensure all pickups are completed daily, with precision and consistency
  • Maintain fleet to optimal usage, ensuring availability, efficiency, and minimal downtime
  • Achieve budgeted costs to target, managing fleet-related expenditure responsibly and strategically
  • Oversee all HR functions for the fleet team—recruitment, retention, performance management, training, and development
  • Develop, refine, and maintain systems and processes that drive KPI performance daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance, keeping the fleet and team aligned with all legal and operational standards
  • Enforce and maintain presentation standards for people, plant, equipment, and vehicles
  • Ensure compliance and systems of work capture all revenue pertaining to ADSC
  • Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with both company-owned and subcontractor fleets

What You Bring
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a large fleet (30+ vehicles)
  • Proven background in PUD operations within a metropolitan environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Experience managing both company-owned and subcontractor fleets
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and safety frameworks
  • Commercial and operational acumen, with a track record of meeting performance and budget goals
  • A passion for operational excellence and a commitment to world-class service delivery
