What your day-to-day could look likeAs a member of the Finance Team and reporting to the General Manager - Finance and Risk, the Commercial Analyst will provide support with all aspects of financial performance management, including planning, budgeting and forecasting, through the provision of quality reporting and advice with a focus on systems, process and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities of the role will include;
- Review of construction projects - provide ongoing analysis and ad-hoc support
- Preparation and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant management information, monthly reports and project reports
- Assist with the company's FBT and annual return
- Ensure correct costing of credit card transactions
- Implement, maintain and improve accurate and timely reporting
- Improve and streamline business processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare, manage and monitor the overhead budget
Review contracts to ensure contract terms are understood and followed including insurance requirements
Manage relevant Company licences and insurance renewal
Oversee debtor compliance and reconciliation appropriately
Initiate bank guarantees and manage the timely receipt of outstanding bank guarantees

You will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
A relevant qualification such as a Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting, as well as being CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
Knowledge and experience in the use of commercial accounting and administration software systems.
Intermediate knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite
Project/contracts administration experience and/or project financial management experience.
Construction industry experience.
- Current SA driver's licence.
