Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing concrete remediation tasks, including but not limited to, concrete breakout, crack repair, patching, and finishing.
  • Operating various power tools such as jackhammers, grinders, and other construction-related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with site preparation, clean-up, and general labouring duties as required.
  • Adhering strictly to all WHS policies and procedures.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Essential Requirements:
  • Must be based in Cairns or willing to relocate.
  • Proven experience in concrete remediation.
  • Demonstrated experience operating jackhammers and other powered construction tools.
  • Current White Card (Construction Induction).
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding manual labour.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
  • Ability to successfully pass a National Police Check.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
