Your new role

You will provide technical leadership in the design, development, and optimisation of solutions across our Salesforce ecosystem. Leveraging deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, you will guide teams in translating complex business needs into strategic, scalable technical solutions. Your leadership will help shape best practices across customisation, integration, and automation, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will drive continuous platform improvement, mentor team members, and stay at the forefront of Salesforce innovation and trends In this role you will,
  • Work with Product, Architecture, and senior stakeholders to define strategic technical approaches
  • Design and develop complex, scalable solutions across multiple Salesforce instances
  • Champion best practice development and architectural standards
  • Lead the modernisation, support, and upgrade of key Salesforce systems
  • Oversee technical quality through code reviews, solution walkthroughs, and best practice adoption
  • Guide teams in implementing robust testing strategies in collaboration with Quality Engineers
  • Mentor and coach developers at all levels
  • Define and maintain technical standards, development guidelines, and architectural principles
  • Lead technical design sessions and oversee solution delivery
  • Drive the creation of technical documentation and reusable assets
  • Ensure documentation supports future scalability and cross-team understanding
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other GitHub-integrated tools
  • Ensure code is automatically tested, reviewed, and deployed through structured workflows from development to production
  • Champion best practices in version control, branching strategy, and deployment automation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive demonstrated expertise in Salesforce development across multiple instances, including deep knowledge of Salesforce development best practice, Apex, LWC,
  • OmniStudio, and Salesforce platform-level architecture
  • Strong experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Solid experience across core Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Cloud) and proven delivery skills in Experience Cloud
  • Expertise in driving development standards, deployment strategies, and quality assurance across Salesforce development teams
  • Advanced problem-solving skills – able to lead the resolution of complex technical and architectural challenges
  • Proven leadership in mentoring and developing team members across multiple levels of experience
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications aligned to your areas of specialisation (e.g. Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent)
