Orange Grove Western Australia Remote Water WA Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

Remote Water WA are looking for qualified (Cert. III) Water and Wastewater Operators/Technicians to join our highly skilled and experienced team

FIFO - 2:2 week roster - only work half the year

10 hour days - hit the gym or buffet before the crowds arrive

Salary package to be determined on experience and qualification. Preference given to WA applicants however will consider travel arrangments for the right candidates.

Must have:

Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems Operations.

  • Certificate III Qualification or equivalent in Water/Wastewater Operations issued in Australia/New Zealand (older qualifications will still be recognised)
  • Experience operating wastewater and/or potable water treatment plants
  • Chemical dosing system operations and maintenance
  • Experience and understanding of potable and wastewater testing and sampling
  • Reverse osmosis experience beneficial
  • Ability to pass medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Familiarity with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines

Desirable:

Plumbing, Pipework, Mechanical Fitter/Installer, Electrician

  • Pumping system installation/fabrication/maintenance
  • Commercial Plumbing Industry Experience or License/qualification
  • Pipework assembly/installation/repairs
  • Electrical Systems understanding

Additional after hours work may be required - as well as additional site coverage (to be paid on additonal day rate)

Remote Water WA offers in depth training to our new operators with a highly experienced and knowledgeable support team.

Our locations may be isolated and challenging, a good aptitude to problem solving will be highly regarded.
