About the Company

ConsultANZ is seeking 3x Senior Contract Managers for major civil infrastructure projects in Auckland, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

These $25M–$50M+ per year projects focus on improving city streets and delivering key urban infrastructure upgrades. We're looking for experienced leaders who can manage complex contracts, work closely with clients, and oversee large teams.

Main Duties
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of large urban infrastructure projects
  • Act as the main point of contact with the client
  • Manage budgets, performance, and risks
  • Provide strategic advice to improve project delivery
  • Guide and support engineering, construction, and project teams
  • Prepare reports and attend senior-level meetings
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in major civil projects
  • Strong knowledge of various contract types, including maintenance contracts, is a must.
  • Experience in road construction, road maintenance, highways, pavement works, resurfacing, spray sealing, and asphalting is required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects valued at $25M–$50M+
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
