Local MC Driver - (DRI

Description
Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local MC Driver to become a key part of our Cairns team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work with attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you We are looking for a reliable individual to handle the safe pick-up and delivery of a Bulk freight, all while adhering to our established rules and regulations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Position: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 7am Start Monday to Friday (guaranteed hours)
  • Regular OT (Weekend work)
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
  • Location: Local Cairns region

  • Responsibilities:

  • Complete pickups and deliveries of Bulk general freight

  • Safely and efficiently manage deliveries on time and in full
  • Work in a Steady Paced Environment while consistently maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracy
  • Adhere to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • 12 months experience in a similar role in a structured environment
  • Must hold a current MC Licence
  • Forklift Licence is desirable but not mandatory
  • A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goals
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check
