Nursery Hand

Floraco Pty Ltd is the largest and most productive fresh flower grower in Western Australia.

We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join our fast-paced production team at our wholesale nursery in Forrestdale.

The position is well suited to someone who is looking for consistent hours but at a casual hourly rate. Must have a positive attitude towards work, be self-motivated, fit, punctual, reliable, and not mind the heat working inside a glasshouse but enjoys hands on work and does not mind getting a bit dirty.

Floraco values the effort and hard work from its employees, and this is reflected by paying well above the award rate.

  • Ongoing casual position.
  • Required 5 Days per week – Monday through to Friday, plus Saturday mornings when required. (There will be extra hours including Sunday at peak periods such as Mother's Day and Valentines).
  • Early starts (7am-Winter) (6am-Summer)
  • $31.20 per hour + penalties (adult pay rate)
  • MUST have a driver's license and reliable vehicle as there is no public transport nearby. Parking is available.
  • Full training provided

  • Previous horticulture experience not necessary, but advantageous.

  • DUTIES INCLUDE: -

  • Flower crop maintenance
  • Picking & Bunching (grading of flowers)
  • General labouring duties
  • Spraying on a rostered system
