About the role
This position is responsible for leading and delivering data analytics and integration activities that underpin the Strategic Asset Management function within the Information Management and Operational Systems Division. The role ensures that asset management planning and processes are consistent, compliant, and embedded across the Division, supporting PTA's broader objectives in resource planning, financial management, and performance. It also promotes a strong safety culture, ensuring assets and work practices meet PTA and regulatory requirements while fostering a competent and engaged workforce aligned with Divisional goals.
In addition, the role provides specialist asset management advice to support financial planning, procurement, and operational performance to optimise the use of resources across the asset lifecycle. It ensures strategic asset management is fully integrated into both operational and strategic planning, with robust processes for auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement. Through technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration, the role supports the delivery of reliable services, effective decision-making, and long-term sustainability across the PTA's operations.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Extensive experience in complex, asset-intensive environments with strong knowledge of ISO55000 principles, asset management planning, and data integration from multiple sources.
- Proven expertise in developing policies, procedures, and strategies at a senior level, alongside advanced skills in analysing asset data to drive reliability improvements and efficiencies.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to empower teams, manage resources, and deliver successful organisational outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, consult at a high level, and build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes on time.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
