Foundation Resident Training Pharmacist

**About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide routine clinical pharmacy services independently at a competent level within an evidence-based quality and multidisciplinary healthcare environment with limited professional supervision and guidance, and aligned to organisational goals, professional, legislative, and ethical standards. Primary pharmacy service provision, including participation in clinical service delivery, distribution and dispensing, in-service training and professional development, and input to relevant policies and procedures.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Exercise independent professional judgement in resolving routine problems, with more complex clinical decisions and problem solving made with limited professional supervision and guidance.
Provide professional clinical supervision to pharmacy interns, students and pharmacy support personnel.
Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams within and external to Pharmacy, and with patients/carers, and actively participate and provide professional advice in this multidisciplinary environment.
Promote quality use of medicines principles, safe medication practices and the role of the pharmacist within the hospital, provide input into relevant policies and procedures, and participate in departmental projects and quality or service improvement activities.
