North Coast Heavy Towing is seeking experienced Tilt Tray Truck Drivers to join our teams in our Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Macksville and Coffs Harbour locations.

Immediate start available once licence approved.

About the Role

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tilt tray truck to transport vehicles and machinery.
  • Respond promptly to callouts for emergency towing and recovery services.
  • Completing efficient deliveries and collection of equipment.
  • Conduct pre and post trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure on-time drop-offs.
  • Carry out routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to road transport rules, safety procedures and company policies.

What we're looking for

  • A valid MR (or greater) driver's licence or willingness to obtain
  • Experience driving tilt tray trucks or heavy vehicles (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of transport regulations and load restraint (ongoing training provided).
  • Safe driving record (preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Criminal history check (required).
