We're on the hunt for a Product Owner to join our dynamic COO Risk team. If you're looking for a fresh challenge to your career, this could be the role for you.
  As a Product Owner in the Risk, Model Implementation & Reporting Delivery domain, you'll lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of customer-centric solutions that support regulatory and risk-related initiatives. You'll also be responsible for translating complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable delivery plans, ensuring alignment with customer experience strategies, and driving cross-functional collaboration across data, risk, product, and technology teams. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact outcomes in areas such as model implementation and regulatory reporting.
  This is a permanent role based in Sydney.

What you'll do
  • Own and apply 1st Line of Defense risk practices to ensure financial and non-financial risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated across delivery processes. 
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of risk models (e.g., credit, market, operational), ensuring robust governance, validation, and integration with core systems. 
  • Ensure timely and compliant delivery of regulatory reports (e.g., ARF, Vortex DAR), embedding controls and automation where possible. 
  • Collaborate with Tribes, Chapters, COEs, and support functions to align on priorities, resolve delivery risks, and ensure transparency across initiatives. 
  • Identify and implement enhancements to processes, data flows, and tooling to improve delivery efficiency, data quality, and user experience. 
  • Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance.

What we're looking for 
  • Demonstrated depth of experience in the fundamentals of at least one core pillar of Product Ownership i.e. product management, risk management, delivery expertise. 
  • Fluency in all Microsoft Office tools – particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development. 
  • Tertiary qualifications at Bachelor Degree or higher.
