About Carmel Village Doctors

Carmel Village Doctors commenced operations in August 2024 with one GP room, seeing around 8–10 patients per day. In just 18 months, our practice has grown significantly — we now have four GP rooms fully booked, and due to increasing patient demand, we are preparing to open an additional consultation room to accommodate our expanding team and community needs.

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our new, state-of-the-art medical centre located in Carmel Village Shopping Centre, Box Hill.

Our modern facility features 8 GP consultation rooms, allied health services, and specialist support, providing an excellent environment to establish and grow your practice.

About the Role

As a subcontractor GP, you will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to a diverse patient base.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and managing a broad range of medical conditions
  • Providing preventive healthcare and managing chronic diseases
  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients

Flexible Working Hours

Our aim is to offer extended access to patient care with core operating hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with extended hours until 8:00 PM on Thursdays (subject to doctors' availability and agreement).

Weekend hours are:

  • Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (can extend to 4:00 PM)
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

As a General Practitioner, you have the flexibility to choose your preferred working days and hours within the schedule above.

Essential Criteria

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)

Proven experience as a General Practitioner

Current Police Check & Working with Children Check

Excellent clinical knowledge and patient care skills
