The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney's most respected frontline charities, serving the community for nearly 40 years. Our mission is to tackle homelessness and poverty by providing essential services such as food, social welfare, and education support to those in need.

Our Social Health and Wellbeing (SHW) team is the first point of contact for individuals facing multiple and complex challenges in their lives. They deliver a broad range of support, from crisis intervention and case management to assistance with essentials such as bills, medical, dental, and complementary healthcare services.

THE ROLE

Are you a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same?

We're seeking a skilled General Practitioner to join our team, providing care across both our Blacktown and Ashfield Medical Clinics. This 12-month fixed-term, part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, multidisciplinary health team, delivering life-changing healthcare to some of Sydney's most vulnerable communities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, you will:

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality primary healthcare to homeless and disadvantaged communities, in line with best practice standards.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with all BCF stakeholders.
• Maintain excellence in clinical practice through ongoing education and professional development.
• Effectively manage medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate referrals when required.
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records, following all Practice protocols.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and brings:

• Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
• AHPRA registration and at least one year of experience as a General Practitioner.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach to managing priorities and adapting to complex challenges.
• Experience providing care to marginalised and disadvantaged communities, demonstrating empathy, cultural awareness, and sensitivity.
