Salary range: $66.85 to $72.58 p.h. (NG7)
Annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
Clinical Nurse Consultants demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and advanced critical thinking skills and are accountable for their own clinical practice. They provide support and direction to the multidisciplinary team in the management and care of trauma patients within Townsville University Hospital (TUH). This service works a 7-day week roster during business hours.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
Highly desirable:
Possession of a relevant post graduate qualificatioin in an appropriate field.
Extensive experience in emeregency or critical care.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
