About the role

Expert Dental Care is seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist and Dental Assistant to join our team in Casula, NSW. This is a casual role that will involve providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our dental clinic.

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner
• Managing patient appointments and maintaining the clinic schedule
• Handling patient enquiries and booking appointments over the phone
• Preparing treatment rooms and assisting dentists during procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic files
• Processing payments and handling financial transactions
• Ordering and restocking dental supplies as needed
• Ensuring the clinic is kept clean, organised and well-presented at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or dental assistant, preferably in a fast-paced dental practice
• Minimum of 1 year of dental receptionist or dental assistant experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, dentists and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and patient information
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
• A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
