What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Manager, Regulatory Services this role will be responsible for:
- Supporting stakeholders with registration, disclosure, and public funding obligations under the Electoral Act 2002.
- Delivering core regulatory services including processing applications, supporting compliance, and maintaining registers.
- Responding to stakeholder enquiries and escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Assisting with political donation and funding compliance, including reconciling applications and ensuring accurate public reporting.
- Contributing to the delivery of regulatory priorities and compliance programs across the team.
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in applying legislation or policy in a regulatory or public sector setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical ability to assess data, identify trends, and contribute to informed decision-making.
- Commitment to the VEC's core values.
