About the role

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at DC Tyre & Auto Services in Forrestdale, Western Australia. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in a range of vehicles
  2. Perform maintenance on vehicle electrical systems
  3. Install and configure electrical accessories and equipment
  4. Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations
  5. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
  6. Maintain detailed records of work completed
  7. Stay up to date with industry developments and new technologies
  8. Calibration of Advanced Driver Assist Systems

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified Auto Electrician with a relevant trade certificate or diploma
  2. Minimum 3 years' working as an Auto Electrician
  3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  5. Good communication and customer service skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
  8. Strong understanding of ADAS technologies.
  9. Ability to use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot ADAS faults.
