About the role

Baker Structural Engineering Services is seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our team for multiple contracts located around Adelaide, SA . This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

  • Fabricating, assembling and repairing metal structures, vessels, tanks, and other boiler and pressure container components
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine the most appropriate welding or metalworking procedures
  • Operating cutting, bending, and other metal-working equipment to shape and join metal components
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and quality control standards

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in boilermaking, welding, or a relevant trade.
  • Or extensive experience as a boilermaker/welder, ideally in the construction or engineering sectors
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a range of welding techniques, including ARC, MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
