About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of participants' homes in accordance with NDIS quality and safety standards.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive living environment for people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and communal areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Change bed linen, wash laundry, and assist clients with light domestic duties as required.
  • Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Work respectfully within clients' homes and uphold privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Follow infection control procedures and adhere to organisational policies and NDIS standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning (preferably within disability, aged care, or community settings).
  • Understanding of safe cleaning practices and infection control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check &* Working with Children Check* (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
