**About the Role**

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands the importance of creating a safe and supportive living environment for people with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and communal areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Change bed linen, wash laundry, and assist clients with light domestic duties as required.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Work respectfully within clients’ homes and uphold privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow infection control procedures and adhere to organisational policies and NDIS standards.

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning (preferably within disability, aged care, or community settings).
- Understanding of safe cleaning practices and infection control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current **NDIS Worker Screening Check** **&**Working with Children Check* (or willingness to obtain).
