The role

Are you an experienced Interstate Truck Driver with a Multi-Combination (MC) license?

Various Locations Available - Wagga - Melbourne - Sydney - Brisbane - Adelaide

Join the team at Ron Crouch Transport as an Interstate Driver and take on a pivotal role in our reliable and growing road transport operations across Australia. This full-time position is based in our Laverton, VIC location but we are open to other big city locations as well.

What you'll be doing

  • End to end load-restraint, hooking and unhooking trailers.
  • Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles including semi-trailers and B-doubles to transport goods interstate
  • Adhere to all road rules, OH&S and fatigue management regulations
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logs and documentation
  • Effectively communicate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Undertake routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy vehicle interstate truck driver
  • MC (Multipurpose Combination) driver's license
  • Basic fatigue management accreditation
  • Dangerous Goods License (Desirable)
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
